Resource Pool on SharePoint Server

Hello,

I created a shared resource pool, two projects that use these resources, and
a master project to consolidate these projects. I then loaded all four files
to a common folder on a SharePoint site.

I can open the master project file, and when I do so am asked by Project
whether I want to also open the shared resource pool associated with the
master.

However, when I try to open one of the individual projects that are
consolidated in the master, Project tells me that "Project does not support
resource pooling on a Web server." I find this strange because opening the
master project seems to work fine.

Any idea what I've done wrong to cause this?

Thank you,

Tom

Hi Mike,

I'll give it a shot, but am using an individual instance of Project and not
a server version. It's Project Standard 2003, SP2 by the way.

Thanks,

Tom

Mike --

This question is not a Project Server question. I believe it needs to be
answered in this newsgroup.

Tom:

I believe this is a limitation in the current version. I agree with you that
it doesn't make sense.
