Resource Pool

For new blank projects I am able to connect to my resource pool. However, for
existing projects (with no resources) I cannot. The option in the Resource
Sharing dialog is greyed out. Why might this be? I'm sure I've managed it
before.

Just figured that out. It's always the simple things.

As an aside, is it possible to link a resource pool to an access database? I
have my resource pool setup and would like to use the data in an Access
database.

If not, is it possible to do it the other way (Access database of resources
linked to create the resource pool in Project)?

I need to use the same information in each application but don't what to
have to make changes in two different places. I see that Project has an ODBC
option. Any ideas on setting this up?

Hi,

You can save each project as an access data base and later open it in
Project.
As for using data exinsting in a different dat base I would recommend VBA
programming since VBA can read data from both systems.
