Resource Usage View - Some tasks greyed out, some not

I have a master schedule that I am trying to level resources in. I am doing
this manually. I was doing fine until I opened up the master this afternoon,
and found that some tasks for certain resources are greyed out so I can't
change the allocation, and some are not. I found it odd since I was able to
manipulate any task within the master's sub schedules this morning, but now I
can't. I don't even know what I did to change anything.

Could it be that the inserted file was no monger on the same spot such that
this project (and its tasks) could no longe be reached from the master?

That is possible. I was looking from a resource perspective so I think if I
looked at all the greyed out tasks, they would be from the same sub schedule.

The problem resolved itself when I reopened the master schedule a few times
down the road, so I am guessing that is what happened.

Of course now I have other questions for another thread!
