Resource usage view Total by group

I am trying to work out how to get the time scaled data in
the resource use view to show the total cost by resource
group. Project will only show me the goup by total in the
resource table not in the time phased data view.

Does any one know how to do this - do I have to export to
excel and do extensive formating?

In Project 2000+ in the Resource Usage view select Project, Group, Resource
Group.

That still does not show the total for the group in the
time phased data view. I have tried to illustrate this
below. Where the xxx is this is where I want to see the
total.

Group: Equipment xxx xxx xxx
Boots 100 200 50
Shirts 100 220 30

Is this possible

This possibility is not (yet) present in P2000.
It does work in P2002
