Hi,

How can assign a resource to work in two activities and use two hours of his
/ her working time (which is from 2:30PM to 6:30PM) daily until the activity
finishes? Also, I would like to restrict MS project to use the resource once
he/she has used all his/her working time (send an error message if the
resource is trying to be used).

Finally, how can I print a friendly schedule for each resource, detailing
the list of daily activities and hour?

In advance I'll appreciate your help.

Set his resoruce calendar working hours to be 2:30 to 6:30 each day. Or
create a special ccaendar to assign as a task calendar with those hours. For
the task, if he needs 2 hours a day, and that calendar is set for 4 hrs per
day (20 per week), you could assign him at 50% which by default should
schedule him 2 hours per day if you assign Work equla to 10 hours times the #
of weeks in the task. The task should be set to Fixed Work. I have not
tried this, but believe it will work. Let us know.

Wiley,

It didn't work. I already have a calendar of 4 hours. If I assign the
resource 50% it takes 4 hours. MS Project takes 8 working hours (apparently
no matter if you define personalized calendars for resources). I solved the
problem assigning 25% of the resource.
