resources for summary tasks

I am trying to look at my resource allocations in the upper tier summaries.
If I have a 1.1 "summary task" with sub tasks 1.1.1 throught 1.1.5 and I load
all my resources in the 1.1.1 through 1.1.5 tasks. How can I look at a roll
up of the resources to the summary task of 1.1?? It rolls up the hours and
the $$$, but it doesn't break out the hours of different personel. I seem to
only be able to access that on the lower level tiers.

Except for admin tasks such as project management, it is poor practice to
assign resources to Summary tasks. For overviews, use the Resource or task
Usage Views.

Hi Jen,

You can try as many times as you like, the answer won't change I'm afraid.
This is not possible without a VBA procedure, sorry.
