restore

my laptop is having problems and i have been told to restore it back to
factory settings. if i do this obviously im going to loose my office package
and will have to reinstall it. however, my package only allows me to install
it on 3 computers, and when i installed it on to my laptop it was its 3rd
time. so am i able to reinstall the package, because its the same laptop as
before, or will it recognise it as the 4th attempt to reinstall it? the box
says 'licensed for non commercial use on up to 3 home pcs'

It means installed and working on 3 PC's concurrently
You can reinstall as often as is neccessary, In the worst instance you would
have to use phone activation
