retrieve mail stored in old profile!

I urgently need help here guys. I just transferred a
system from a domain into a workgroup. I created a new
user account on the local machine and copied the old
profile(the one I used while still in the domain) to the
new profile. Everything has been restored and everything
seems to be working fine except I have lost all my old
mail that I had saved. Can someone please tell me how I
can retrieve this mail if at all its possible? I was
thinking of returning the system to the domain and try
logging on again but the domain doesn't exist anymore.
There is no domain controller. I'm thinkin of creating a
new domain by the same name I had before and try to log on
to the domain from my machine using my old account. I
wonder whether this might help me get my old mail back.
This mail is very important.

Where was the mail stored? PST file? If you have local admin rights on this
computer, do a search for *.pst on the hard drive(s) - (make sure to search
hidden/system folders as well).
