retrieving contact list, calendar, etc

I had to reinstall my OS and other software, including
Office. I burned a backup my pertinent/personal files
including Outlook. The problem I am having is to
retrieve/transferring my previous contact info, calendar
info, stored emails, etc.

Any ideas? Thank you in advance.
