Review Toolbar

Every time I open some documents, the review toolbar pops up - I've closed it
numerous times. It's not checked on my list of toolbars to show. How do I
get it to stay closed and not pop up everytime I open documents?

Are the documents being opened from an Outlook attachment? Uncheck add
properties to attachments to enable reply with changes.
Tools->options->Email options->Advanced email options.

After furious head scratching, Cindy E. asked:

This issue is caused by the option in Outlook that Millie described
however you turning off the "Enable Reply with Changes" options
doesn't prevent the Reviewing toolbar from displaying. It will help
out those who you send attachments to since this option adds adHoc
Review properties to the properties of the file attachment and that's
what causes the Reviewing toolbar to surface.

Here's an article that provides more on this issue along with a
workaround you can use to disable the Reviewing toolbar:
http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/Pub0009/LPMArticle.asp?ID=221

Note if you still use the Reviewing toolbar then use this macro
instead of the one in the article:

Sub AutoOpen()
With CommandBars("Reviewing")
.Visible = False
End With
End Sub
