Am I able to move emails to the delete file and delete them based on a time
period. I have time limited transactions that I need the email to go to a
specific file and wait for 30 days and then move to delete file and delete.

Can I do this without learning how to write a script?

Have you tried using auto-archiving to do that?

If I do auto archive how does that get the file deleted after 40 days? Not
sure how that works.

Do not use the Deleted Items folder. Make a new one and set the autoarchive
function on that folder to delete after 40 days. Move your items into that
folder however you wish.
