Safe to remove Outlook Backup?

G

Greg G.

I just recently started copying my Outlook backup files to
a CD-RW. As my backup file is around 600mb, I wanted to
remove the now backed up file from my hard drive. Can this
safely be done?

Thanks,

Greg

Certainly, once you've made sure that your CD backup is complete.

should be ok. if in doubt, close your outlook, rename your backup file, open
outlook try to backup. it should recreate another backup.pst file for you.
If error, post the error here.
