Save As goes blank.

Hi

I have a user who when they goto 'Save As' and change the file location the dialog box goes blank and Word stops responding
He's using Word 2000 on Windows 2000 Pro

Any ideas very much appreciated

That doesn't sound like a Word problem: more likely network or hardware.
Check if they have problems browsing to the same file location using Windows
Explorer.

Thanks for the idea. The user actually had a network drive that no longer existed causing W2K to slow up. Cleared the mapping and it's all working at the normal speed again
