Save As is grayed out

I have Microsoft Word 2003. The Save As button is grayed out. I have
activated the product. My virus scanner does not detect a virus. I have
disabled Norton's Office Plug-in. Still no luck! I have also run a repair.

Any suggestions?

I renamed my normal.dot and reopened Word. So far so good! Thanks so much.
My next question: Is there anyway to recover my autotext in my old
normal.dot and move it to the newly created normal.dot?

Sure - start the organizer (tools > macro > macros > organizer). Close the
file in the left window and open the renamed normal.dot. Copy your autotexts
from left to right.
