Save as special file types missing

Justin

Does anyone know how to enable saving Word, etc. files as special types?
We are able to save as word for mac file type on some machines, but
not on others, and all have office 2003 installed. Thanks!

Are all of the converters installed? From the control panel, choose Add or
Remove Programs - Microsoft Office - Change - Add or Remove Features -
Next - Choose Advanced Customization of Applications - Next - expand Office
Shared Features, and look for Converters and Filters. Is Text Converters set
to "Run All from My Computer"?
