Save customisation

Hi
I am using Office XP Pro 2002. Purchased from Microsoft.

I have done this before but I can't remember how to do it now.

I am re-installing Office and don't want to go through the long time
consuming agravation of re- setting all my settings I.E. customising the tool
bars etc.

I know there is a way to save all the settings and then put them back in
when I have re-installed the software.

Can anyone help please.

Regards

Hi Dawn

It looks like it, but is it the same for Office on a pc as aposed to Mac I
wonder.

I will give it a try later today.

Can you also tell me, if I want to install my certified copy of MS Office XP
pro which I bought from Microsoft and have the license No. for, how I go
about it.

I have just bought a new computer and want to transfer the programme over to
it before I delete if from my old computer. Is this possible and is there
any special way of doing it to avoid comming up aganst any Microsoft
restrictions? Do I just install from the discs as normal which Microsoft
supplied in the wallet.

Many thanks for your help.

Regards

Hi -

You should not have any trouble moving your installation from one PC to
another using the disks you received when you originally purchased it.
However, there is a different version of Office which is more
appropriate for a Mac, so you will want to check that out in a Mac
group.

If for some reason your installation will not authenticate with the
Internet for downloads of updates and service packs, call Microsoft (for
free) and they will provide you the necessary steps to complete your
installation.
