Saved in wrong format

I used a customized design template in my presentation. Because i wanted to
continue with the same format - I accidentally inserted new design templates
instead of slides and now I can view the whole presentation, however, it's
only printing one page- how can I export or copy/paste each design template
into one presentation?

If Ive understood correctly I think theres only the hard way (maybe someone
knows better)

Insert the correct number of slides, format as blank layout
Goto each master in turn ctrl click title / text etc and copy
paste onto relevant slide
