I accidentally saved over a file in publisher. Can I revert back to the original file?

Close, but no cigar :). That affects system files, not user files.

Hi JL Amerson ([email protected]),
in the Microsoft® newsgroups
you posted:

Well JL, I too thought the EXACT same as you, and that was the same thing I
mentioned to someone long ago, and I too was corrected about the system
file/user file thing. So, I applaud you. And, I too don't smoke. I have
never smoked *ANYTHING* ever in my life, and I will keep it that way (well,
except I have smoked my tires in a race or two ;-)

BTW, can you please email me at (e-mail address removed)?

You might look around in the temp files... Publisher creates temp files, could be the
previous save is there.

It wasn't me, was it?! If it wasn't - damn, I missed one! ;o)

Too funny :). But you are correct, never had and never will have an
interest in smoking anything.

But, then again, NEVER SAY NEVER :p
