Saving base calendar

I'm having a problem saving changes to my base (standard)calendar. I am able
to make changes like adding holidays using the tools>change working time menu
and all changes are made to my project. However, when I save and close the
project and reopen it, the standard calendar reverts to the default ( no
holidays). I am using Project 2003 and I am also making these changes in
mid-project - I have data loaded into the project. I have looked through a
couple of Project books and looked through the help screens and can find
nothing that tells what I'm doing wrong. Help please!

Has anyone added any VBA Macros that forces Project to reload calendars etc
from the Global.Mpt file?

There is an SP1 for Project. Try downloading it from Microsoft.com and see
if it helps.

Thanks Rod. I downloaded SP2 from microsoft but the problem still remains.
