Saving e-mail messages in usable folders

I want to create a new folder and keep e-mail messages
that will sometimes include attachments.
How do I create a folder that will accept messages as
files?
How can I work with them if they come in Netscape format?

You can use Outlook's File | Save As command to save email messages to any
system folder.
