Saving emails

Is there a folder in which all our emails from outlook
express sit in?

I'm trying to transfer my old emails to my new computer
and I'm not sure how to go about doing it.

use outlook express to open a file, (file/open) and open the file c:/documents and settings/(username here)/application data/identities/.

Or

install the old hardrive in the new computer, and import the file (loacte as above) to the new hard drive. Remove the hard drive and reinstall in the old computer.
