Saving from floppy in same order

I have a number of floppys with documents I want to save
on the hard drive. When I save them in a folder they are
arranged alphabetically. Is there any way to save these
documents in the same order they are on the floppy?

Files on your hard drive can be sorted by name, by modified date, by type,
or by any other field that is displayed. If the order in which they were
saved to floppies is date order, you can sort them that way. Otherwise,
you'll need to rename them. You could, for example, preface each filename
with the number of the disk it's on.

Thanks Suzanne....

I knew about the sorting AFTER the files were copied but
was afraid I might have to rename them... Thanks again.
