I created some sample email templates using my HTML
stationary. I saved them in Drafts and have been using
them by copying/pasteing into a new message each time I
want to use one.
But I want to do it the right way and turn each one into
an email Form. I know how - open the sample message then
Save As and choose Save As Type = Outlook Template
(*.oft). Outlook stores this in Templates and I can easily
use it to create a new email by clicking New/Choose
Form/Look in:User Templates in File System and viola there
is my list of template email forms.
Here is my problem. When I use some of these forms, some
are HTML and some open only as a Plain Text message with
no hyperlinks or graphics, even though I followed the
exact same steps to create each of them. I have tried over
and over to re-create the steps so that I get an HTML
version (.oft) in Templates and it just doesn't happen.
Occasionally I get lucky and one does save as HTML.
For the life of me, I cannot figure out what is happening.
Can anyone help me?
