I have a need to be able to email my MS Project file to some folks who
don't have Project on their computer and was told that it's possible to
save as a PDF file. Looking at 'save as' options, I haven't seen that
- can anyone help? TIA

Hello (e-mail address removed),
I have a need to be able to email my MS Project file to some folks who
don't have Project on their computer and was told that it's possible
to save as a PDF file. Looking at 'save as' options, I haven't seen
that - can anyone help? TIA

You need to print to PDF - assuming that you have Adobe Acrobat installed
- not save to.

Other options that you could take:

1) Take a snapshot w/ the camera icon in the toolbar (that's probably the
easiest)
2) Export to Excel
3) Tell them to download the free Java-based Open Workbench, save your file
as an .XML and then they can open it and manipulate the data
4) Tell them to download the free MS Project Professional 2007 Beta from
the Microsoft test sit

You can use the save as .htm option.

To save as a pdf file you will need ADOBE Distiller.

Hope this helps.

You could donwload a PDF creator program called PRIOMO PDF, install this and
then print the file to the PDF printer driver that PRIOMO PDF has installed.
It's a freeware program.
