saving sent items to another folder

Hi.

I have Outlook 2000. I woud like to automatically save my
sent messages to a different folder in my folder list (not
Sent Items).Can I set this somewhere?
I know I can do this in the Options within each message,
but I was looking for a way to do it automatically for
every message.

You could create a rule for this stating that when a message is send move to
.... folder

Thanks for the reply Roady, but the rule will only allow
me to move a copy of any message from the Sent Items. My
whole purpose in doing this is to decrease the size of my
Inbox by saving my sent items to a mail folder that
already exists on my computer.
