Saving Word Documents

We have been having some problems with word documents on
our network since upgrading to XP - open and alter, save
and shut down, go to re-opendoc and it says it is a read
only document. It comes up with the error that the file is
already in use and is therefore readonly.

Any sugestions or Fixes?

Also, since this is a network drive on an XP server, make sure all
users have Delete rights in the folders where the documents are saved.
If they don't, then Word can't delete the locking files and other temp
files, and this will cause the same problem.
