Saving Word Documents

When I try and save a Word Document, the hour glass shows up and it takes up
to -2 minutes to save a 1 - 3 page document. I have updated Office, Word,
Windows, etc. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be? I am saving to
the C drive of my laptop.
