scan document to xp word and edit

Stumped Bob

Tried to go to office document imaging and could not because it comes up that
I need Windows xp Professional disc and I have Windows xp home. Thus no xp
Pro disc. Thus no Office Document Imaging.
What do i do?

P.S. Can I upgrade from XP HOME to XP PROFESSIONAL? and do I need to?

I don't believe you are reading the error message correctly.
Maybe if you quoted the error message exactly and completely,
someone here can help you with it. Microsoft Office Document
Imaging is a feature of Office XP and Office 2003, not of Windows
XP, so maybe you are being prompted to insert your Office XP
Professional CD?
