Schedule back from delivery date

my project requires a series of tasks to be back-
scheduled from a specified delivery date, such as
delivery, package, QA. some other tasks are scheduled
forward from receipt of order, such as receipt of
specifications, design, materials procurement/receipt.
can i create a dependency between the latest of the
forward scheduled tasks to the earliest of the back-
scheduled tasks, so that I can identify a scheduling
issue ?

Yes, why not?
A normal FS dependency should do.
