Schedule daily work over life of project- help!

Hi there,

I am using project to schedule total marketing activities for the company
and have following problem:

If I want the process of "writing press release" to range from 1.2.6-1.3.6
BUT the resource assigned to this only needs to spend 1 hour each day on
this- how do I keep the time periond 1.2.6-1.3.6 when i enter 28 hours for
the resource???

Proejct keeps recalculating the total time of project....

Basically, I need to be able to assign different task to different resources
but als odefine a time period in which the activity is running...

Can anyone help?

Hi Rebbeca

If you only require a resource to be able to work 1 hour a day without
changing the dates, you would normally create a seperate calender for that
resource and set the working hours for that resource to 1, this should then
keep your dates right.
