Second Activation of OfficeXP

Hello,

I recoverd my system with the HP recovery CDs which came
with the computer. Then I installed OfficeXP Standard for
students and teachers for the second time. When I opened
any of the office programs, another window opened and
asked me to activate the product and when I try to
activate it, a warning window opened and said;

"According to our records, this copy of Microsoft Office
XP Standard for Students and Teachers has already been
activated on another computer. If you believe you have
received this message in error, please contact a Customer
Support Representative."

I'll appreciate if anyone can help me, thanks...

You need to do what it says in the last sentence. You choose the option to
activate over the phone and explain why you need to re-activate Office. In
this situation you should not have problems re-activating.

Erhan,

I bought my copy used from a guy in Canada. After installation I had to call
MS to activate. They gave me a special number not on the package after I
supplied them with the one from the package and told them how I acquired it.
I wrote it down and have since reinstalled it 2 times using that number. I
am sure if you call the activation number, which I hope is being supplied
when it gives you the error, they will supply you with the correct code.
