Security issues... basic concepts of infoPath

Hi! I have gotten pretty excited about InfoPath in only two days. I just
tried it yesterday. I was able to create a really nice looking "Expenses
Pre-Approval" form. It wowed people in the office. So today, I tried a
second version. They liked it even more. BUT

When I tried emailing the template to everyone, nasty security messages
popped up when they tried to use it. I can't remember the exact words, but
basically it said that the template wasn't where it should be.

I have every intention of taking the time to learn this stuff - but I'd love
a quick summary of how InfoPath is supposed to work, touching on these
questions.

1. What is the difference between saving the template and "publishing" it?
2. If I make a template, can I send it to anyone who has a copy of InfoPath
on their computers and they can open it and use it to create filled in
forms?
3. When I says I have to "publish to a network location" does that mean that
InfoPath only works on a network share? Or can a network location be a local
folder?
4. Does Infopath require Sharepoint? (I hope not 'cause I got everyone
excited and we don't have Sharepoint!!)

I guess that's enough. Oh, if you have the patience...

5. When I saw those error messages I did a quick Google, and saw a post that
said to turn "Full Trust" on. When I did, and tried to reopen the template
it refused to open at all! Luckily I had a backup. Why would a "low"
security setting make it "more" secure?

Thanks!

I've been able to recover the message:

Insufficient Security Privilege

This form cannot be opened because it requests domain security level and is
only allowed restricted security level. Based on information in the form...

Thanks!
