Security Update for Word 2002 (KB895589)

After installing security update for word - 895589, word hangs on starting
up. Removing the update allows word to startup. I have
installed/uninstalled a few times over the last month with the same result.
If I start as winword /a, word will startup ok. I have renamed the
normal.dot and checked for any startup macros, which there are none. Other
than this update, the os and office are up to date and stable.

Any thoughts on how to track this down?
