Send and Receive not working

I recently got back from a trip to Canada. While there I used Outlook 2003 with my earthlink account instead of my regular pop3 account. Now all the accounts in my profile are gone and when I try to add accounts again I keep getting the message "The specified account is not found. It may have been deleted." When I test the account usinhg the test settings it works just fine. Help! This is crazy!
