Send before receive?

Whenever I compose and send an email with two of my
emails accounts I recive a server error. The reason being
is that the host of these email accounts require that I
check for email first, before allowing sending email.
It's a pain. Any workaround in outlook 2k3? Right now I
have to do a send/receive before composing an email.

In the Advanced settings for your mail service in Outlook do you have the
box checked for "log into sending server before receiving?"
