sending a 2mb email

i am having trouble sending a 2mb email. the system administrator says the
email is undeliverable. however i can recieve emails as large as 7m.
can i increase the size of email to be sent?
or is there anything else i can do?

Many individuals, organisations, and mail servers will bounce messages with
attachments of a certain size or type (or all attachments) so there may be
nothing you can do. You could start by using a fiile compression program
such as WinZip/WinRAR etc which would shrink the file to a more manageable
size and a format less likely to be bounced. Or you could use file exchange
in Windows Messanger provided you arranged it with the recipient first. This
will handle much larger files.
