Sending an browser enabled infopath form as email

M

MB

I have a browser enabled infopath form 2007. I have created an email data
connection on click of Submit and would like to send the form as an email.
When I do a preview of the form and click Submit, I get a confirmation
whether to send the email or cancel. If I click send, email is send.

The same form if I publish it to a sharepoint doc library and click on the
Submit button, I get an error saying "Error has occured while submitting".

Can someone please let me know how to send the form as an email? Or how to
remove/disable the confirmation while sending email?

Any help would be highly appreciated
thanks

Hi Frederik,
I am experiencing the same issue.
How to I give the Infopath permission to use the SMTP that 'Alert Me'
and 'RSS' uses?

Thanks,
Andre

I don't understand your question, as the first message had a problem
saving the form in SharePoint, de SMTP was working.

It can be me, after a very late working night :)

Can you please subscribe what you like to do (more detaild). Then I
can have a look, but can't promis you anything :)

About the email problem

I can't find and i don't know any place where to select the SMTP
server.

What I do know is the following:

When using InfoPath (not webbased), it takes Outlook as default Mail
Client, meaning you need to add your SMTP server and Authentication in
Outlook.
Also when you have several mail clients installed, be sure that
Outlook is the Default

When using InfoPath (SharePoint + Webbased), you must check the SMTP
info in SharePoint.

I hope this can bring you in the right direction.
