sending an email from word

Hi
I created a word doc then saved it as an html file when I send the html it
to a mail recipient it seems to embed the images.
If so then anyone who I send the html file to should be able to see the
images, and not just a box with a red cross in it, is this correct?
Thanks

There's no need to save the document as HTML: Word will convert the document
to HTML in order to send it with formatting through Outlook. If you open
Word and go to Tools, Options, General tab, select Email Options at the
bottom of the dialog; then chose the General Tab and select NONE. This will
ensure best HTML compatibility of your emails.

Note that you have no control over how recipients view your messages.
Security conscious users will always view them as plain text, no matter what
you do with them.
