Sending as Email Forward Problems

T

TJAC

I created a newsletter using Publisher 2007. When I am finished with it my
boss forwards my email (taking off all of the hearder information) and
forwards to the entire company. With my previous boss this was never a
problem. She had Office 2003, with my new boss, on a new computer, still
Office 2003, when she forwards the email, the images are now off from the
text, extra spaces are seen, etc. It is definitely not as clean as it was.

We have changed her Outlook to html, rich text, no word as email editor and
none have helped. I don't understand why one person can forward it without
any problems and another cannot.

Thanks.

Similar problem in creating an dedicated email. Appears intact in editing
mode. Appears intact in preview. Send email and large white gaps appear,
splitting pics in half and separating text, etc.
Rebuilt files from scratch adding one component at a time. Tried
eliminating boxed text and that seemed to help a little, but not cure
problem.
Ideas?

I have the same isue also. My guess is that the HTML code generated by
publisher is not very accurate (like FrontPage code). I haven't found a
sloution other than to design in another program (I use Expression Design)
and then save as a jpg and import into publisher.

Another solution is within Publisher 2007, under edit/options there is a
check box automatically convert the design to jpg before sending in an email.
This may be the best solution, but no links allowed, which is a bummer.

They have some work to do on this product.
