One email I got from Nigeria (with an offer too good to be true,
literally) had a lot of addresses, and I believe the header said
"X-mailer: Microsoft Outlook". May have been O.express, though.

I didn't count the addresses, but printed the message out in full for my
colleagues to see. The message body was around half a page, with the
rest of the 14 pages (fourteen full sheets!) containing addresses.
Assuming 64 lines per page and 2 1/2 addresses per line on average, you
should be able to go beyond 2000 addresses in one go.

Wild guess: are you from Nigeria?
