Sending Email

This is killing me and it only recently started. I've seen a number of others with the same problem, and unfortunately I don't see a solution

I can't send out email. I can receive, but I can't send. I hit send, I get a copy in my sent folder and a copy in my deleted folder, but no one receives a copy of what I send

Virus maybe? I don't know but I need help

I'm in that tennis match between Dell (the distributor) and Microsoft (the software maker), with each pointing in different directions with me in the middle. Is there a solution to this problem? It's been about a week

I've contacted my ISP and they say my POP3 and SMTP settings are fine. Please send me email on this as I can receive but I just can't send
