sending email

I have my outlook connected to an excite account and for
some reason it continues to download the messages from
the excite account but is having trouble sending them. I
continue to get a message saying relay access denied and
something about the email addresses. I know that the
email addresses are right so I was wondering if there is
something in outlook I need to do.

all your SMTP server settings need to be set to the same as your default
account...only the pop3 server settings are different

Thanks for your quick response. My settings are set
correctly so I still don't know what the problem is. Any
idea?

Simon,
Thanks for the quick response. I am not quite sure if I
understand you. I know I have the correct smtp settings
and pop3 settings. Could you explain a little more?
Thanks.

Sounds like you have an address in the "E-mail address" field of your
account that specifies a domain other than "excite.com". Excite is
preventing you from using their mail servers while giving an non-Excite
domain.

Brian.Tillman is the name, smiths-aerospace.com is the domain.

I don't speak for Smiths, and Smiths doesn't speak for me.
