I am using ms office 2000 and my friend runs ms office 2003, when I send her
a publisher file via email she says there is nothing there when she opens it.
Help me please, I need to get the file to her so she can save it to a disk to
go to another pc to can get printed

Why does your friend need to open the file in Publisher to put it on disk?

How are you emailing the file? Are you just attaching it to an email?

Ed points out that you left out a lot of clarity in your post. so I'll try
some guess work..."if" you are sending a pub file as an attachment, and "if"
the recipient opens the email successfully, and "if" the pub file supposedly
attached is not available in the email, that ("if" that's the issue) would
likely be due to the attachment being stripped out of the email by a
firewall or other filtering mechanism or perhaps has been blocked by the
email client and/or anti-virus software. The best way to email a file is to
first zip it and send that zip file instead. Most filters and other control
mechanisms will allow zip files thru.
