Sent email messages aren't being delivered!

I have Windows XP and for some unknown reason Outlook no
longer sends email messages successfully. It appears the
message is sent (it's not in the outbox/drafts, it IS in
the sent folder, and the virus protection scan is
activated), but the messages aren't received by the
recipients. I receive messages in Outlook with no
problem. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it and also
tried turning off the outgoing message scan with no
success at correcting the problem. Also have searched the
Microsoft Support pages with no results.

Please help!

G'Day Deb,
To get to the bottom of this, you will need to
un-install firewall/anti-virus completely.
(Turn ON the WinXp native Firewall by all
means).
Then test Outlook - please post back with
the outcome!
