Sent Emails appear twice in sent box

I am using Outlook 2007. I have noticed that when I send an email using
outlook from my AOL profile it duplicates the message in my sent folder.
Please note the following:

1. The recipient(s) only recieve one copy, but the sent folder indicates it
has been sent twice.

2. I have two AOL accounts. This is only happening in one. I have both
configured the same. I have also tried to delete and recreate the one AOL
account with the issue, but it persists.

any solutions would be helpful

This is an IMAP acct, correct? Are you using a rule to move the messages to
the folder and also selected the folder as the save to location?
