Sent Items behavior

In Outlook Express, when you send email from an IMAP account, a copy of the
message is saved in the "Sent Items" folder associated with that IMAP
account.

I recently started using Outlook 2002 to read email. It seems that Outlook
saves all sent mail into my "Personal Folders / Sent Items" folder. I'd
prefer it to save Sent Items into the Sent Items folder associated with the
IMAP account I'm using (I have multiple IMAP accounts).

I checked under Tools / Options, and it seems you can turn the feature
on/off, but you can't tell it where to put the mail. Am I missing
something?

I know I can create a rule to do this, but I find it odd that OE does this
by default. Outlook seems more sophisticated, one would assume it could
handle this easy task.

Outlook saves the send items to the Send Items folder that is the Outlook
Today list. Configure your default delivery location in Tools-> E-mail
Accounts to your IMAP folder.

Hope this helps!

I tried that. The only option it gives me is to deliver new email to
"Personal Folders". I have multiple IMAP accounts, but none of them are
listed in the pull-down.
