That’s a good question, and I would like to see what others have to say. I
don’t think there is a single answer; it’s all a matter of preference.
One suggestion I have is to set up a series of task in phases, where each
phase represents an iteration. In this case, you may have the same set of
tasks or 90% of them in each corresponding phase plus others as needed, but
the amount of work should become less until you finish your final product.
The one issue with this model is you are building your plan as you go since
you won’t know what you need in the next phase until you finish the previous
phase or close to the end end.
