Outlook Anywhere is an Outlook for Windows term because it refers to RPC
over HTTP. Entourage does not use RPC.

You should be able to enter your Outlook Web Access (OWA) server address
in Entourage and connect that way provided you have Exchange Web
Services accessible to the Internet.

Hope this helps!

Did you mean to use the OWA server name instead of the message server and the
user account and PW?

Because I don't have a Mac I can't figure out what options are required, it
is hard to explain the user (she is just a regular user doesn't have much
knowledge).
It would be nice if there is any Microsoft knowledge base article or
something I can go through and send the link to the user?

Thanks for your comment.

This was written for Entourage 2004 but the instructions are still valid
for Entourage 2008:

"Connecting Entourage to an Exchange Server from Home"

Do I have to enable Web Service or change any settings for this?
As long as I know, Entourage works without any customized settings on
Exchange 2007 Server with SP2.
But, I am not sure whether or not I have to make any changes.
Thanks,

Just to clarify... this is for Entourage 2008 WSE. The sequence of events are as follows:

The server was running Exchange 2007 SP1 and I was running Entourage 2008 and everything was working beautifully using the server address of remote.myserver.com.
Server was upgraded to Exchange 2007 SP2 and Entourage 2008 was still working.
Once I upgraded to Entourage 2008 WSE I haven't been able to connect using any variation of our server address: remote.myserver.com, https://remote.myserver.com, https://remote.myserver.com/exchange, https://remote.myserver.com/owa, etc.
The kicker is that I can connect if I establish a VPN and use the internal server address.

I've enabled logging and reading through the logs shows that remote.myserver.com/owa is logging in and receiving information in HTML/XML. However, Entourage 2008 WSE is still showing "not connected". Any ideas?

You can use either WebDAV or Exchange Web Services, however, you must
choose the Entourage client that matches what you support.

Exchange Web Services is available in Exchange 2007, however, it must be
properly configured.

In your situation, I'm gathering that you don't have Exchange Web
Services properly configured outside your company network. You can
either get it configured or you can remove Office entirely, install it
again and not upgrade to Entourage Web Services Edition. By not
upgrading, you'll be using WebDAV.

Hope this helps!
