Sharing Data File

Outlook 2007

I would like to set up a data file on a network that all three users in my
office can access. I was able to create the pst file but when the second
user tries to open the file, access is denied. I have tried it with the file
open and closed on my PC but neither will work.

You cannot keep a PST file on a network share. Outlook needs constant
read/write access so if there is any interruption in the traffic, you see
corruption. The same applies to sharing the PST the way you have tried to
set it up.

It is a pst file but I am only interested in storing an archive of email
messages, not contacts or calendars. Also, I don't need it to sync it, just
store the messages, like an archive.
