Sharing Folders

Christine

Using MS Office 2003 at work. I monitor my Outlook mail folders and also the
inbox for my boss (he has Outlook 2003 on his laptop also). If I am sitting
at my desk, and want to reply to one of his e-mails or forward it to someone
else who needs the information, I go through the process of "reply" or
"forward" but always get it returned as undeliverable because I do not have
permission to do that. Can you tell me how to change the permissions on his
folders? I have right-clicked on his inbox, gone to sharing but I am unsure
if I should be an editor, owner, etc., or if this is even the correct way to
do it.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Either your boss needs to add you as a delegate in Tools | Options | Delegates or the Exchange administrator needs to grant you Send As permission over the boss' mailbox. You can't do either of those yourself.
